Case study – GDPR & DPA

We had the opportunity to help the team of a large international insurance company based in Singapore to remain compliant with the GDPR’s requirements.

As a sensitive data controller, our client has an obligation to enter into Data Processing Agreements (DPA) with their suppliers.

Actions: We acted along the legal department team of our client (1) to draft a DPA which contains all the mandatory terms for a data controller, (2) to send the DPA to their suppliers in a number of jurisdictions and (3) to get these DPAs returned and signed really fast.

Result: Our client is now compliant with the GDPR, in addition to being compliant with local rules in Singapore.
